| Govt Employee SSO Portal |
you need a Govt Employee SSO ID Login.
The Rajasthan government launched the SSO (Single Sign-On) portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in to bring all government services under one digital roof. Instead of remembering dozens of different usernames for different departments, you get a single identity that works everywhere.
This guide covers everything you need to know from creating your SSO ID as a government employee to logging in, resetting your password, and solving common errors.
What Is SSO ID and Why Do Government Employees Need It?
SSO stands for Single Sign-On. It is a digital identity system run by the Government of Rajasthan's Department of Information Technology and Communication (DoIT&C).
With one SSO ID, a government employee can access HRMS (Human Resource Management System), view and download salary slips, manage leave applications online, access SIPF (State Insurance and Provident Fund) records, apply for RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme) benefits, access departmental portals and internal correspondence systems, and use over 100 government services through a single login.
Without an SSO ID, you cannot access most of Rajasthan digital government services as an employee.
Who Is Eligible for Govt Employee SSO ID?
The Govt Employee category on the SSO portal is exclusively for Rajasthan state government employees who are currently employed with any state government department, have a valid SIPF (State Insurance and Provident Fund) number, and have active SIPF login credentials.
Your SIPF number is typically printed on your salary slip, service book, or can be obtained directly from your department's accounts section.
Important: If you are a central government employee or work in a private organization, you should register under the Citizen category, not the Govt Employee category.

Common Errors and How to Fix Them

Error 2: Mobile number already registered Fix: This means your mobile number is linked to an existing SSO account. Use the Forgot SSO ID option to find and recover that account instead of creating a new one.
Error 3: OTP not received Fix: Check that your SIPF Registered mobile number has network coverage. Wait 2 minutes and request OTP again. If still not received, call the SSO helpline.
Error 4: Captcha not loading Fix: Refresh the page, try a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox, or clear your browser cache and cookies.
Error 5: Account locked after multiple wrong password attempts Fix: Wait 30 minutes and try again, or use the Forgot Password option to reset your password immediately.
How to Merge Citizen SSO ID with Govt Employee SSO ID
If you already have a Citizen SSO ID and now need a Govt Employee SSO ID, do not create a new separate account. Instead, use the Merge Account feature. Log in to your existing Citizen SSO ID, go to Profile Settings, click on Merge Account, enter your Government Employee SSO ID or mobile number, verify via OTP, and confirm the merge.
After merging, your Citizen account will be deactivated and all your data will transfer to the Government Employee account. This prevents data conflicts across government platforms.
Tips to Keep Your Govt Employee SSO Account Secure
Never share your SSO ID or password with anyone, including colleagues. Change your password every 3 months. Always log out after using shared or office computers. Enable email notifications so you are alerted about any suspicious login. Use a strong password combining uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Never access your SSO account through unofficial or third-party websites.
